What we like to hear about
A check that gets it wrong. If a checker flags something that is fine on your site, or misses something that got you refused, that is the most useful message we can receive. The tools only get better from real sites that behave in ways we did not expect.
A mistake in a guide. A wrong number, an outdated rule, a link that no longer says what we claim. Corrections are made quickly when the source holds up, and substantive ones are logged in the changelog.
Your approval story. What you changed, how long the review took, what moved a refusal into an approval. We never publish a story without asking you first, and we never name your site unless you tell us to.
A tool or a guide you wish existed. We read every suggestion, and several tools on this site started as one.
How to write a report we can act on
For a bug or a false positive, send:
- The URL you audited, and which tool you used.
- The name of the check, as shown in the report.
- What the report said, and what you expected instead.
- The date and time of the audit, if you can, so we can look at the same run.
For a correction in a guide, send the page, the sentence and, if you have one, a source. A link to Google’s documentation settles most questions in a minute.
What we cannot do
We cannot contact Google on your behalf, speed up a review, or tell you why a specific application was refused: Google gives that detail only to the applicant. Nobody outside Google can, whatever some paid services claim. What we can do is show you the measurable problems on your site and explain what each one usually means.
We do not write sponsored articles, sell links or accept payment to mention a product. Messages proposing that will not get a reply.
Your message and your data
We use your email address to answer you and nothing else. We do not add you to a list. The privacy policy says what we keep and for how long, and how to ask for it to be deleted.
